Carolyn and Jeannie’s Trip to NYC
May 29, 2007 | Filed Under activities

Carolyn Guy convinced Jeannie to do a girls weekend out in New York. They bought hotel reservations at the midtown Hilton and Broadway tickets to see Wicked. And they were even gracious enough to let us spend some time with them. We went to Mama Mexico’s on 103rd/Broadway which we’ve mentioned is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the city. We did the infamous Staten Island ferry ride that we do whenever someone comes for a visit, and then made some delicious pasta for dinner. Sunday was the Five Boro Bike Tour where 35,000 cyclists bike through all the boroughs. We met them in front of their hotel which was on the route for our goodbyes.

Thanks for posting. I’m going to send the link to Carolyn now!
We are going to post another picture of just the two of you on the Staten Is ferry this weekend too.
Thanks for posting the picture(s), Daniel. I will never, ever forget my first trip to NYC! You and Ash were so gracious to show me around (good to know that Southern Hospitality is alive and well in NYC!), and Ashley, that pasta dinner you made was delicious!
LOVE the new puppy! Hopefully, Jeannie and I can come back up there one of these days and I can see her in person.
Thanks again, you two—I just can’t tell you how much fun I had, and I will always be grateful to the both of you for showing me the Big Apple!
Love you both…Carolyn
