Georgia vs Auburn

November 20, 2005 | Filed Under atlanta, football, travel

Ashley and I flew down to Atlanta for the Georgia – Auburn game. It was a great weekend for college football in the South… with one exception – 4th and 10 and we let a wide receiver get wide open… how did that happen? But I digress. I’m really glad that we got to watch a game in Athens this year. I look forward to football Saturdays in Athens all year, and I thought when we moved to New York that I wouldn’t get any more.

Plus, I always enjoying watching the games with my dad. We missed our Cade’s Cove trip this year because of the move, but at least we got to watch a game together.

I thought that Spencer would get a kick out of both bands playing together at the half-time show. So, I took a small video clip with my camera. – Half-time Show (it’s only 30 seconds because that’s as long as I could record.)
And yes, that’s the view from our seats. They really aren’t that bad especially when the action gets close to the nearer endzone.

    Hey Daniel hey ashley,

We just finished reading your Georgia vs. Auburn blog. Man, tough break but it sounds like you had fun. Actually, my family and I are down here in Jensen Beach at Grammy’s house. We just finished a great Thanksgiving meal. We hope that you all had a great holiday.

    Love,

    Carl and Leitch posse,

Thanks for leaving a comment. It definitely was a fun game to watch (except for the end.) Sorry we didn’t make it down for Thanksgiving. Sounds like you guys had a good time though… lots of people!
