		<description>I agree about the looting.  I could understand looting to get essentials, but there are people carting away TVs, setting fires, and even shooting at people who are stranded.

They stopped the evacuation of the Superdome yesterday because people were shooting at the rescuers.  I can&#039;t fathom what would cause someone to do that.</description>

		<description>After experiencing two direct hits last year (Francis &amp; Jeanne) I can only guess what is going on with the people in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast.  The uncertainly of when they will have electricity and water is the only loss that I can share with them.  It is impossible to imagine the stress level they have not knowing if they will ever be able to have the life style they enjoyed in the past.
The looting is unconscionable to me.  Perhaps the need for water or diappers prempted any moral values they had.
